Military Drill Small is a Majorette Sport category in which a team of minimum 8 athletes and maximum 35 athletes performs to a pre-recorded set of audio within the 20m x 20m demarcated stage area.

The display comprises 3 distinct sections:

1) Pre-display: 1:00 – 1:30 minutes permitting the team to enter the stage area to audio so that they may set the stage for their display.

2) Display: 3:00 – 5:00 minutes of choreography within the demarcated stage area which will be assessed by the judges.

3) March off: The exit sequence of the display. Team members must have cleared the demarcated competition area by 6:15 minutes.

MILITARY DRILL LARGE

Military Drill Large is a Majorette Sport category in which a team of minimum 15 athletes and maximum 50 athletes performs a pre-display and display to a pre-recorded set of audio within the 40m x 40m demarcated stage area.

The routine comprises 3 distinct sections:

1. Pre-display: 2:00 – 2:30 minutes allowing the team to enter the stage area to audio so that they may set the stage for their display.
2. Display: 7:00 – 9:00 minutes of choreography within the demarcated stage area which will be assessed by the adjudicators.
3. March off: The exit sequence of the display. Team members must have cleared the demarcated competition area by 10:30 minutes.

SHOW

Show is a Dance Drill category in which a group of a minimum of 8 athletes and maximum of 35 athletes perform with a variety of props to a pre-recorded set of audio, whilst demonstrating a theme within the demarcated stage area.

OPEN DANCE

Open Dance is a Dance Drill category in which a group of a minimum of 8 athletes and maximum of 35 athletes perform to a pre-recorded set of audio, whilst demonstrating a theme within the demarcated stage area.

NON PROP

Non prop is a Dance Drill category in which a team of a minimum of 8 and maximum of 35 athletes performs using their hands as props to a pre-recorded set of audio within the 20m x 20m demarcated stage area.

MACE

Mace is a Majorette Sport category in which a solo/duo/trio/mini formation/group perform a mace display to a pre-recorded set of audio within the demarcated stage area.

FLAG

Flag is a Majorette Sport category in which a solo/duo/trio/mini formation/group performs a flag display to a pre-recorded set of audio within the demarcated stage area.

BATON/BATON TWIRLING

Baton is a Majorette Sport category in which solo/duo/trio/mini-formation/group perform a baton display to a pre-recorded set of audio whilst incorporating the compulsory movements within the 12m x 12m demarcated stage area.

POM DANCE

Pom Dance is a Majorette Sport category in which a solo/duo/trio/mini formation or group performs a Pom pon display to a pre-recorded set of audio whilst incorporating the compulsory elements within the demarcated stage area.
